Rain Gardening Information

Saturday, May 10th 10am - Noon

Bruce Blanchard, Wenham Water Superintendant and member of the Wenham Citizens Water Advisory Committee will be at Green Meadows Farm from 10am - Noon to answer questions about water conservation and to talk about how to have a "Rain Garden".  Free.


The Future of Food

Thursday, May 15th, 7:00pm

"The Future of Food" film screening at the Hamilton Wenham Community House, followed by a "Q&A" session with Farmer Andrew.  THis film is about genetically modified seeds used in conventional farming. www.thefutureoffood.com Free.


The Best Plants for Kids

Saturday, May 24th, 10am - 11:30am

Kids will learn how to plant and care for their vegetable or flower seedling. $10 includes seedling of their choice.


Organic Seedling Sale

Begins mid-May

Purchase certified organic seedlings for your home garden. Organic fertilizer and seeds will also be available. Come early for the best selection of heirloom tomatoes!  


Fairy Festival at the Farm

Saturday, July 26th from 2:30 pm — 5 pm

Su Eaton of Magical Creations and Green Meadows Farm Present the First Annual

Come Dressed as a friendly magical being such as a Fairy, Elf, Gnome, Dragon, Unicorn or Unknown Creature.

Have fun Singing and Dancing with Su Eaton, Building a Fairy House and being in a Fairy House in the Magical Woods at Green Meadow Farm, Having a Tea Party, Making Crowns, Wands and puppets, Magical Naming Ceremony, making Magical Bubbles and your own take home Bubblemaker, and having your Face Painted!

A great way to spend the day with a child! (and your inner child that so wants to play!)

Free to an adult who comes with a child!

 $24 per child, ($20 for farm members) please pre-register by calling 978-468-3720 This helps the Fairy Baker know how many treats to make for our Fairy Tea Party and have enough materials so everyone can join in!

Land to Sea

Saturday, August 16th 5pm

(Rain date, Sunday, August 17th)

A Celebration of Local Foods- Learn more about how Essex County food is grown, harvested and produced.

Featuring: Woodmans Lobsterbake— Essex, Green Meadows Farm Organic Vegetables— Hamilton, Mercury Brewing Company Beer— Ipswich, Alfalfa Farm Wines—Topsfield, Topsfield Goat Cheese—Topsfield and A&J King Breads— Salem.

Live Music by Blue Honey and Hayride tours of the farm.

$79 (adults), $70 (csa members) and $12 (children)

Annual Harvest Festival

Saturday, Oct. 18th, 11am— 3pm

We’ll have great music from Back Eddy Bluegrass plus excellent food, fresh baked goods and of course, organic produce. Hayrides, pony rides and the Farm's animals will entertain the kids, along with children's activities. Admission is free!
