Adult Gardening Class session 2

May 20th, 2017 10:00am - 12:00pm

If you have always been interested in having your own backyard garden, have already started but cannot quite seem to get your vegetables growing like you would like them to, or even been gardening for a while and would like to meet fellow gardeners to learn new tips and ideas; Green Meadows is offering 2 Adult Gardening Class sessions May 13th and 20th, 10am-noon.

Session 2 will cover Planning, Companion Planting and Organic Pest Management.  Planning your garden is an essential step; knowing which vegetables will thrive with each other and which ones should be separated,  what type of soil you have, where to place each veggie for optimal growth, and rotating produce each year to maintain soil health.

There will be at least 30 minutes at the end of each session for any questions regarding topics related and unrelated to the lesson.  Cost is $30/session or $50 for both sessions. Call the Farmstand at 978-468-2277 to sign up.
